Little Office for the TLM

A Little Office to be offered for the growth and flourishing of the Traditional Latin Mass, for the sanctification and salvation of bishops, priests, and all the faithful, and for the liberty and exaltation of our Holy Mother the Church—especially in the Quad Cities [or name parish, community, diocese, or region]

V. O God,  come to my assistance; R. O Lord, make haste to help me.
V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.
R. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen
Alleluia [Septuagesima-Holy Saturday: Praise be to thee, O Lord, King of eternal glory.]

Ant. Let thy heart take courage, and wait thou for the Lord.
[Eastertide: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.]

O Lord, our Lord, how admirable is thy name in the whole earth! (Ps. 8:2) Who is as the Lord our God, who dwells on high: and looks down on the low things in heaven and in earth? (Ps. 112:5) My soul longs and faints for the courts of the Lord.  For the sparrow has found herself a house, and the dove a nest for herself where she may lay her young ones: thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God. (Ps. 83:4) But see what things the enemy has done wickedly in the sanctuary!  They said in their heart, the whole kindred of them together: Let us abolish all the festival days of God from the land. But God is our king before ages: he has wrought salvation in the midst of the earth. (Ps. 73: 3, 8, 12) Behold, O God our protector: and look upon the face of thy Christ. For I have chosen to be an abject in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners. For God loves mercy and truth: the Lord will give grace and glory. (Ps. 83:10-12) Expect the Lord, do manfully, and let thy heart take courage, and wait thou for the Lord. (Ps. 26:14) And I will go in to the altar of God: to God who gives joy to my youth. (Ps. 42:4)

Ant. Let thy heart take courage, and wait thou for the Lord.
[Eastertide: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.]

V. O Lord, hear my prayer. R. And let my cry come unto thee. Let us pray.
Almighty and eternal God, who alone workest great marvels, send down upon thy servants, our prelates and priests, and upon the flocks entrusted to them, the spirit of Thy saving grace, and that they may please Thee in truth, pour forth upon them the continual dew of Thy blessing. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. R. Amen.

V. Our help is in the name of the Lord. R. Who made heaven and earth.
V. Let us bless. R. God.
V. May the Lord bless us, protect us from all evil and bring us to everlasting life. And
may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
R. Amen.
